Naughty Khanfessions
Hello love, i'm feeling kinda down tonight and want to ask you something, what are your tips for cheering up when you're down? Also do you have any cuddly! khan headcannons? :3

Hey there, liebe. I’m sorry that you’re feeling down! But I do have a few cheering up tips that work wonders for me:

I try to keep my mind and hands busy:

- I listen to music while drawing on my Cintiq. I have a very eclectic array of music on my iTunes – from ACDC to Die Antwoord – so the variations of my music helps relax and calm me down from wherever I was before mood-wise. Music and art instantly take my mind away from my issues, causing me to focus on the lyrics and what I’m creating in front of me. I instantly gravitate more to doing this when I’m feeling a bit down or angry. (I recommend listening to Florence and the Machine if you’re feeling super down. There’s something about her voice that makes me go ‘whoooooa I think I’m okay now’.)

- Make things! Go through Pinterest and find little crafts that could take up a bit of your time. Pinterest is full of awesome DIY’s. Level of difficulty is up to you, of course!

- Cook or bake! There’s just something about making yummy food that instantly makes my problems go away.

Sit quietly and meditate:

- “Quietly” doesn’t have to mean complete silence though; my fiance can’t stand the silence but I honestly don’t mind it. I actually find it comforting. But I might take out my turntable and play some records; the scratchy sound of the record seems to calm me. But I will sit on my bedroom floor and think. I try to focus on the reasoning for me feeling the way that I do and try to find a way to comfort myself. If I’m feeling down about being 25 and not having started a career, I will think about how hard I’m working and how it will pay off soon - hopefully. I almost give myself a pep talk.

Friends:

- If I’m feeling particularly down or in a bit of a rut, I’ll ask for a bit of company. Make sure that this person(s) is extremely close and wonderfully understanding. You don’t want a friend that will only make you feel worse about your situation – no matter how ‘insignificant’ it may seem.

Movies/Reading:

- Everyone has a favorite movie/book; whether it’s a comedy, a thriller, or a chick flick. Go and watch/read the hell out of that shit.

If all else fails, go outside:

- Sometimes you just need a bit of sunshine and fresh air. I love bees, so I’ll sometimes go outside and sit near my moms plants so I can watch and listen to the bees. Taking a bit of a walk – around your neighborhood, through the park, on the beach, whatever – can help ground you. I’m not a physical person, but I sometimes hike through the trails of my state park - I usually do this with a friend though.

Now, that’s what I do when I’m feeling stressed, down, or just need a bit of a pick-me-up. However, these could totally not work for you; since everyone is different and likes/dislikes vary from person to person. Maybe you need a more physical activity to get the blood pumping while sweating the blues away. Who knows! But do things that make you happy! Do things that make you smile and laugh and have fun!

Except murder….don’t murder.

Feel better!!! XOXOXOXOX

PS: Regarding Cuddly!Khan headcanons…..Khan loves cats. I think he’d appreciate their intelligence, grace, and self-sufficiency. I’m totally convinced that he’d be a crazy cat man. I also think his dislike of refrigerators is hysterical.

YOU'RE BACK YOU WONDERFUL PERSON I MISSED YOU I THOUGHT YOUR BLOG WAS NEVER GOING TO BE UPDATED AGAIN LEMME HUG YOU AND LOVE YOU AND LOVE YOU AGAIN <3<3<3<3<3

:horrified gasp: I’d never!

If I’m gone for a long time just conclude that I’m either: 1) very sick 2) dealing with personal issues that require a 150% of my attention 3) just a bit stressed and need to wander back into my hovel for a bit in order to straighten myself out 4) traveling/vacation.

This time I was very very very sick. I had the Hand, Foot and Mouth virus. No Idea how I got that shit (since I’m usually extremely clean) but it was horrible and I would never wish that on my worst enemies. I also just started taking a class at my local community college; I’m an overachiever so I’ve been diving head first into that.

But I’d never up and leave the blog without informing you guys first! I’m not like that. I don’t like to leave a bunch of loose threads! So. As my grandma used to say, not to worry!

And I accept all of the love and hugs graciously. Gimme all of it.

Those at YOU HQ who were still sitting on the Benedict Cumberbatch fence practically flung themselves over it on seeing this vision in a wet shirt. BC found his inner Darcy for a shoot with Jason Bell (he of cute Prince George photo fame), who was commissioned by TK Maxx to shoot a variety of famous faces, including Liam Neeson, Kate Winslet and Jerry Hall, to celebrate ten years of its Give Up Clothes For Good campaign, which has raised more than £17 million for Cancer Research. Bell’s photographs will be exhibited at La Galleria on Pall Mall, London, from Tuesday until Saturday. tkmaxx.com.

Not a khanfession. Just wanted to say that I love your blog! You're awesome! Have a good day! :)

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU - you awesome, wonderful, perfect, human! xoxoxox

I love what you are doing here and the genuinely caring community you have created. It's about more than just appreciating a character or an actor. It's a safe space where women (mostly) can express and validate their own sexuality in a way that we never get to do in the rest of life. Or in other words, getting us all into gooey, messy, melty puddles is for the good of the world! Keep doing this!

Thank you, so so so so friggin’ much! I honestly really appreciate this. I’m glad that you get what I’m trying to do here and I hope that it’s just as clear to the rest of you.

I’m trying to create the place that I desperately needed when I was younger or was feeling hopeless. A community where I felt safe expressing myself and never second guessed myself at all. A place where love and support from absolute strangers was consistently felt. And I truly hope that I am giving you, my awesome followers, that experience. I truly hope that I am.

I love you all, my little darlin’s.

Is it possible to do a smaug/reader smut there rarely is and btw love ur blog <3

AH! I know! That fact always makes my heart ache! Since I usually don’t write stories (since I’m probably rubbish at them so I tend to stick to the other spectrum of art) we’re a bit stuck. But, I’ve found a few amazing stories that are Smaug related:

Heart of Fire by DONOVAN94 - I know I’ve mentioned this fic before but it is truly one of my favorites! She has a direct sequel out now for HoF called Heart of Ashes. I suggest reading HoF first though.

Horizons by Fuchsia.Grasshopper - Another favorite of mine. It’s a bit slow to update now, but it’s totally worth it. I also recommend that you read her Khan story: Iron Grasp of Winter.

Also! If you check out the SFC Fic/Smut tag on the blog, there are a two wonderful fics called Bargain with a Dragon (parts 1 and 2) and No Diggity.

Enjoy! xoxo

Short Khan/ Fem!Reader with Gentle!Khan.  It’s inspired by an event from this afternoon that I’m still upset over.

**Admin note: This is a beautifully short story. Absolutely brilliant and wonderful. I truly hope that you’re feeling a bit better :-( **

This isn't a Khanfession, but to be honest, part of the initial reason I followed this blog is because of you, admin. You're super sweet and adorable and you do a really great job. I love this blog and I love you. Please keep doing what you're doing. :-*

:super squee and blush:

Oh my goodness. Wow. Thank you so much, gorgeous! This really, really, really means a lot.

I just started following your blog and I absolutely LOVE IT

THANK YOU!!!! Hope you continue to enjoy your stay, my lovely lady!

(By the way, love the cat in your icon. I’m all about the little fuzzy butts.)

Oh my goodness, who are you and why aren't we mutuals?! I adore your photo/confessions. Also, am wondering if you've read my fic From Darkness to Promote Me and its "chaser"? I think you'd liiiiiike it :D It's on AO3.

Well since you’ve asked, my name is……..wait, I’m not sure.

All joking aside. HELLO! I don’t know why we aren’t mutuals and I have not read your fic, which makes me sad. Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention and I will give it a go! I’ve been looking for some good fan fiction and this could be the end to my search :-) xoxox
